Yes, the online/offline thing is annoying. I would have preferred to download over Impulse.

0I do not belief the 2GB limit changed, though they claimed they are going to do more optimizations. Hard to say if this new expansion will reduce the amount of room mods can use or not. And yes, steam does suck. Sadly hardly anyone seemed to care on the Stardock forums anymore.

0Well, the silly thing is, Gamestop and Stardock partnered with Impulse (unless Gamestop bought the platform from them?) and they are distributing via Steam. I smell greenbacks.

0Yeah, Stardock sold Impulse to Gamestop about a year ago. Thus several months later they could then switch sides to steam without competing with themselves. I don't think they were pairing up with Gamestop, they just didn't want to become more a store than a game company like Valve did and so sold it off to someone who could afford it.

0ah. impulse was the better platform to my way of thinking as an end consumer, but I understand there are other reasons.
